Fasset Card: the USDT card on Visa, with fees and limits
The Fasset Card is a prepaid virtual USDT card on the Visa network: you top it up in USDT, spend in USD, pay a one-time 9.99 USDT issuance fee, and can spend up to 2,000 USD a day with top-ups of 1 to 5,000 USDT per transaction; access is provided by Fasset Labuan Limited.
Risk warning Not financial advice. Crypto is highly volatile and may drop in value significantly. You may lose the amounts you invest and your investments do not benefit from any form of financial protection. USDT is a stablecoin issued by Tether. It isn't a bank deposit and isn't covered by a deposit guarantee scheme. Read the risk disclosure for virtual assets.
How the Fasset Card works
The Fasset Card is a prepaid card, not a credit card: you can spend only what you have loaded. You load it from USDT, and the balance then sits on the card in USD, the card currency.
-
Request the card in the app
The card is requested inside the Fasset app, so start there: get the card in the Fasset app. It is a virtual card: once issued it appears in the app, and its details stay hidden until you pass a biometric or PIN check.
-
Pay the issuance fee
Issuing the card costs 9.99 USDT, charged once when the card is first issued or activated. Of the five fee lines on the card page, it is the only one with a charge today.
-
Top up in USDT
Each top-up moves between 1 and 5,000 USDT from your Fasset wallet to the card, with no top-up fee. The card page does not state the rate at which USDT becomes USD card balance.
If you are paid in dollars, you can fund the card from a USD account once that balance has been converted to USDT. The guide to how USD account details and transfers work covers the dollar side.
-
Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay
The card page lists Apple Pay and Google Pay as supported. A phone wallet is what lets a virtual card pay in a shop, by contactless tap. Whether you can add the card also depends on your region, as the notes on Apple Pay and Google Pay explain.
-
Pay where Visa is accepted
Online, enter the card details shown in the app. In a shop, tap the phone that holds the card. Each payment reduces the USD balance, up to 2,000 USD of spending a day. A payment larger than the balance is declined, because the card has no credit line.
Fees and limits
One charge applies today: the 9.99 USDT issuance fee. The card page waives the per-transaction fee during what it calls a promotional phase and gives no end date, so the fee that follows is unknown.
Every figure was read on the card page of fasset.com on .
| Item | Amount | Note |

Card tiers: what is available today
The home page of fasset.com shows four card tiers: one marked “Available now” and three marked “Coming soon”.
Edge
Shown as available now
Edge is the tier marked “Available now”, and the home page describes it as a metal card. The card page says something different: the Fasset Card is virtual only, and a physical card was targeted, tentatively, for the first quarter of 2026, a date that has passed.
Until Fasset confirms which statement is current, treat the card as virtual. The figures on this page are the ones published for the virtual card.
Select, Elite and Reserve
Coming soon
No fee or limit for Select or Elite was found on fasset.com. Reserve has its own page, summarised here for information only. It is described as a Visa Infinite card, by invitation, that pays from the USDT balance in a Fasset account and has no credit line.
The stated limit is USD 500,000 per payment and USD 500,000 per day, and the stated launch date is . The annual fee is USD 1,499 or USD 799, depending on the country of residence. Reserve cannot be requested from this page.
Where the card works: countries, Apple Pay and Google Pay
The Fasset Card runs on the Visa network, so it can pay merchants, apps and websites that accept Visa: online with the card details, and in shops through a phone wallet. Whether you can hold the card is a separate question, and it depends on where you live.
Eligibility is set country by country. When the card page of fasset.com was read on , its list of countries whose residents cannot be issued the card included the UAE. The list changes with the card's partners and network rules, so it is not copied here. Check the current list in the app before you pay the issuance fee, and see the entity that provides the card.
Apple Pay depends on the region of your Apple ID and your iPhone as well as on the card. The card page explains that where Apple Pay is not offered, Apple hides the option to add a card by hand, and it gives Pakistan, India and Bangladesh as examples. Apple controls that setting, not Fasset.
Google Pay is listed as supported on Android phones. The same caution applies: the wallet provider decides where its service is offered, so support for the card does not mean the wallet is available in every country.
Security, freezes and refunds
The card page lists four protections and one control over the card details. They are the company's own descriptions, not independent test results.
- Visa-powered protection, as the card page words it
- End-to-end encryption
- Real-time fraud monitoring
- Instant freeze and unfreeze of the card in the app
- Card number, expiry date and security code shown only after a biometric or PIN check
If you lose your phone or see a payment you do not recognise, freeze the card first and then contact support. Fasset never asks for your password, your 2FA code or your recovery codes, so a message that asks for them is not from Fasset.
Refunds
Usually 10 to 30 business days.
A refund is sent by the merchant and travels back through the card network, so the time depends on both. The card page gives the range as usual, not as a deadline.
How it compares with a bank debit card and other crypto cards
The table compares structure, not brands. It shows where the Fasset Card is weaker than a bank debit card, and the last column lists what to check on any crypto card.
| Point | Fasset Card | Bank debit card | Check on any crypto card |
|---|---|---|---|
| Funding source | A USD card balance that you load by topping up USDT | The balance of a bank account | Which asset you load and when it is converted |
| Credit line | None: it is prepaid | None, unless the bank has agreed an overdraft | Whether the card is prepaid, debit or credit |
| Protection scheme | None. USDT is not a bank deposit and no deposit guarantee scheme covers it | Bank deposits may be covered by a national deposit guarantee scheme, up to its limit | What happens to your balance if the provider or the issuer fails |
| Fees you can verify | 9.99 USDT issuance; top-up, withdrawal and cancellation free. The FX fee and the fee after the promotional phase are unconfirmed | Set out in the bank's tariff | Issuance, monthly, per-transaction and FX fees, each as a number with a date |
| Limits | 2,000 USD of spending a day; 1 to 5,000 USDT per top-up | Set by the bank | Daily spending and per-load limits |
| Who stands behind it | Access is provided by Fasset Labuan Limited. The card page does not name the issuer | A bank, named on the card | The issuer's legal name, its regulator and its licence number |
No competitor is named and no competitor figure is given, because this page has no first-hand, dated measurement of other cards. The bank column describes debit cards in general, not one bank.
Questions about the Fasset Card
What is a USDT card?
A USDT card is a payment card whose balance you fund with the stablecoin USDT in place of money in a bank account. The Fasset Card is one example: a prepaid virtual Visa card that you top up in USDT and spend in USD. The merchant is paid in ordinary currency over the Visa network.
Is there a physical Fasset Card?
The card page describes a virtual card only. It adds that a physical card was targeted, tentatively, for the first quarter of 2026, a date that has passed, while the home page of fasset.com describes the Edge tier as a metal card that is available now. Treat the card as virtual until Fasset confirms which statement is current.
What does the Fasset Card cost?
Issuing the card costs 9.99 USDT, once. Top-ups, withdrawals to the Fasset wallet and cancellation are free, and no per-transaction fee is charged during the current promotional phase, whose end date is not stated. The fee on purchases in currencies other than USD is still to be confirmed.
What is the daily spending limit?
The daily spending limit is 2,000 USD of purchases. Top-ups and withdrawals have a separate limit: each one must be between 1 and 5,000 USDT. A payment that would take you past the daily limit is declined. The Reserve tier, which has not launched, states different limits.
Can I add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes: the card page lists Apple Pay and Google Pay as supported, and a phone wallet is how a virtual card pays in a shop. The wallet must also be offered in the region set on your phone. Apple hides the option to add a card where Apple Pay is not offered, and the card page gives Pakistan, India and Bangladesh as examples.
Can I use the Fasset Card in the UAE?
Not as a UAE resident, going by the list as it stood on 6 October 2026: the card page of fasset.com then named the UAE among the countries whose residents cannot be issued the card. The card is provided by Fasset Labuan Limited, and the VARA licence of Fasset FZE does not cover it. The list changes, so check the current one in the app.
How do refunds work?
A refund starts with the merchant, which sends the money back through the card network. The card page says this usually takes 10 to 30 business days, depending on the merchant and the network. Keep the merchant's confirmation and contact support if the usual range has passed.
The general FAQ has more questions about Fasset, including licences, accounts and support.
Regulatory disclosure
Access to the Fasset Card is provided by Fasset Labuan Limited, a company incorporated in Labuan, Malaysia, under the card terms. This page makes no licence claim for Fasset Labuan Limited: its status with the Labuan Financial Services Authority has no number and no register link on fasset.com.
The card product page does not name the card issuer or the programme manager. Ask support which company issues the card before you load a large balance.
Fasset FZE is licensed by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) in Dubai for Broker-Dealer Services, licence VL/23/07/002. That licence does not cover the card. It covers Broker-Dealer Services carried on in or from Dubai, the service you use to buy USDT in the UAE with AED. Holding and spending a card balance is a separate service from a separate company.
USDT is a stablecoin issued by Tether. It isn't a bank deposit and isn't covered by a deposit guarantee scheme. Fasset is not a bank, and a card balance is not a bank deposit. Nothing on this page is investment advice. Before you top up, read the terms that apply to the Fasset Card and the risks of holding and spending USDT.
For the companies behind each service, read about Fasset. For background before you move money, start with the guides to USD accounts, UAE crypto law and halal crypto.
Before you request the card
Check three things in the app first: that your country of residence is on the current list, that you hold enough USDT for the 9.99 USDT issuance fee and a first top-up, and that your phone wallet is offered in your region.
